／／Yilan International Children's Film Festival has entered its seventh year, many children look forward to the joy of the lead-time. In recent years, the Yilan County Government has been working to promote film art and shaping the image of the city of Yilan, the concept of art and carefully planning each year’s activities. Planning interesting and innovative films to screen not only led the people of Yilan County to be interested in film arts but also hopes to raise the Yilan County in other parts of Taiwan and the international community's cultural image.

／／Yilan International Children Film Festival's mission is to organize film shows activities for children. Kuo Hwa considers that a good film is a very good educational material, it will teach children to absorb the cultural background as well as educational experiences inspired by the stories. Through the mediums of moving sound & light and easy environment to understand exciting content of Cinematograph. Parents can enjoy with their children through the film at the same time to help children appreciate and understand the content and enjoy this fun time with their children.

／／Seventh Yilan International Children Film Festival is a public cultural activity similar to previous years. Each year many efforts are put in to select broadcast films from countries. This year more than 22 films will be screened. A large number of screen sites have innovation breakthroughs, in addition to Sports Park in Yilan County, Lotung Sports Park performances, but also screening in between the jurisdiction of the township in Yilan County. The most special is that the first film festival for the premiere of the two major films, including "Hello Happiness Station "is the Asian premiere of" Flying in the Sea "is in the world premiere of Yilan County. Each film is carefully planed by the government, with main objective of easy access for children to go the nearest site to watch movies and give them a memorable and meaningful summer vacation.
